Dear Parents,
As we are approaching Christmas Break, I am not assigning homework as often as is normal for my class. This is largely due to the fact that your children have midterms for many classes, as well as Unit exams, that will take up the majority of their last week before the break and they need the time to study for those exams. In the past, students will opt to not do their homework so that they have time to study, which is understandable under these circumstances, and I have no desire to create a bunch of zeroes in the grade book around the holidays. Therefore, our regular homework schedule of Mondays through Thursdays will resume in January when we return. The only exception to this is next week: your students will have a review guide sent home on Monday for the exam on Friday. This will need to be completed before Thursday.
Thank you and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season.
